Heading out in the morning...
Just wanted to let you all know that we are leaving NY tomorrow morning! I don't think that I'll be able to get on and update until we get to Montana - probably Wednesday night or Thursday at the soonest. Just wanted you to know what our schedule was and not to expect to hear anything until then... Thanks so much for all of the support and well-wishes. We are excited to be on our way. I'll let you know how it goes. Love you all!

Hi Skees,
Very encouraged by your recent posts.
Psalm 100
A Psalm of Praise
Shout for joy to Yahweh, all you lands!
Serve Yahweh with gladness.
Come before his presence with singing.
Know that Yahweh, he is God.
It is he who has made us, and we are his.
We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving,
Into his courts with praise.
Give thanks to him, and bless his name.
For Yahweh is good.
His loving kindness endures forever,
His faithfulness to all generations.
In prayer,
Agapé
Keeping you all in our prayers during your transition and wishing the best.
Love, Shannon Shumway (Tuggle) and family
God bless you all, you're in our thoughts and prayers as you make this journey!
Go in His Grace,
Sheila
We continue to pray for all of you during this exciting and challenging time of change. Will be truly interested in the programs you work out for strengthening Ellie. Many folks out here holding you up in prayer - it is an honor to be able to pray for you.
Don't know when you'll have time to read this but thought of your family when I read it this morningThe Difference Between Happiness and Joy
July 27, 2007
Sin promises joy, but it never delivers it. Why? Because true joy is only found in the Lord Jesus Christ. You can be a lost person and be happy for a while. But what I’m talking about here is not happiness because happiness depends upon what happens. Joy depends upon the Lord.
Philippians 4:4 says, “Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.” If you live for happiness, you are a prisoner of circumstances because if the circumstances change, then you are not happy anymore.
Jesus never changes. Happiness is a cosmetic; it is on the outside. Joy is character; it is on the inside. Happiness only meets your surface needs, but joy meets your deepest needs. Therefore, happiness is like a thermometer, it just registers conditions. Joy is the thermostat that controls the conditions.
Happiness evaporates in a crisis. Joy many times intensifies in a crisis. Happiness is wonderful, but let me tell you something, friend. Happiness is at its fullest when it is mingled with joy, when you know the joy of the Lord.
