Saturday Evening NEWS
Ellie was transferred tonight from the Pediatric ICU at NY-Presbyterian to Pediatric Observation Unit at Memorial Sloan Kettering! We appreciate all that the staff at PICU that worked so hard to help Ellie stabilize and be ready for this move. And we are so grateful to be back at MSK -- for now in a private room that is silent! We are feeling quite blessed tonight!

Sarah and family,
We are so happy that Ellie is out of ICU! We pray that Ellie will continue to get stronger. It has been hard reading about all that Ellie has been enduring, yet so important so that we can pray. Your blog has really opened my eyes as to what people go through in sickness. Often they are "away" for several months and its hard to understand the daily stuggles. I'm praying for each of you for physical healing and spiritual and emotional protection.
In His Hands,
Tami B.
Whew!

Praying still~

It is all about perspective to still be able to count your blessings, hugh? I hope you do enjoy that silent room tonight! The pictures help fill in some gaps.... I had no idea there were two other patients right there. I can't imagine the sensory overload that must have been!!!
Praying for renewed strength every day for each of you. Way to fight, Ellie! We are pulling for you!
