One more thing...

I just forgot one sweet little thing in my earlier entry. Tonight when I was putting Ethan to bed, I kissed him and snuggled him and said "Ethan, you are my little son! You're my son-shine." To which he replied "and you are my moon!"

How sweet!!!! :) Glad you are having a great time, but some very hard times too. Good you and John got away. Gives you more time to grieve together. :) Will be praying for you all on Tuesday, and look forward to seeing what you put up for those of us who can't be there! :)

What a precious comment... Most children are afraid of the dark, but Ethan feels safe because he knows his "moon" shines light in the darkness. Your words of faith have been an inspiring light in this dark time of grief - we've appreciated you sharing your heart with us, and have been praying for your family.

Our Bible study lesson last week was on JOY and rejoicing. Jesus said in Luke 10:20,"...rejoice that your names are written in heaven."
Our family and dorm family has prayed for you all so faithfully.
Tomorrow as you are there at Northland memories will come forth of the memorial for your dad and now new ones will be there for Ellie. A bitter sweet time. But, oh, to rejoice that both their names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
We will wear colors tomorrow in honor of Ellie. Our love and prayers, Mark and Janet Case

Sweetest thing I have heard in a long time.

It is so neat to hear all of the ways that you are being blessed in this difficult and confusing time. Praying that the memorial service is even just a tiny fraction of the celebration that we will all take part in when we join Ellie in heaven.

:) Krista
