Day one of round two

Ellie started her second round of chemo at 11:30 a.m. She spent some time in the playroom, but then began the vomiting and other uncomfortable reactions. She's also quite sore from the bone marrow test this morning.

John and Sarah have not received the results of this morning's test yet. Hopefully that will be soon.

Please pray:

1.) For healing for Ellie and for her comfort. Pray that she can get some rest.

2.) For strength, comfort, and wisdom for John and Sarah. Also that they would have the perseverance needed to handle the long haul.

3.) For comfort and security for Ethan while he's staying with Stan and Pat.

4.) For strength and wisdom for Stan and Pat as they care for Ethan.

Sarah,
I was wondering if you have a snail mail address. I thought sending Ellie a package might brighten up her day. We are praying for your family during these times. Melody Oliver Deaton

Melody Oliver Deaton,
Thanks so much for the offer of a package! I'm sure she'll love it. The best address to send a package to would be the following:

Stan Skees
1000 East First St.
Sanford, FL 32771

Grandpa Stan will get it to Ellie. Thanks again on behalf of John, Sarah, Ellie, and Ethan!

Sarah and family,
I met you once during a refresher course at least 17 years ago?! My parents are Bing and Lolly Hare. I just wanted you to know that I follow the blog daily and am praying for you guys on a daily basis. How old is Ethan? I pray the Lord will comfort his heart and give him a security and a "peace that transcends all understanding" during this time. In Christ's love, Leslie
