The Latest...

I'm sorry I haven't posted any new updates. Not much has been happening. We are scheduled to sit down with Ellie's doctor on Thursday morning and ask him what he thinks and what his recommendations are for Ellie's future treatments. After that meeting, John and I will decide what step to take next. Until then, we are at home...and Ellie continues to eat well and slowly gain weight. Thanks so much for your enouraging comments and prayers for wisdom - we need them!

Hi Sarah and John,
I am friends with Jenn. Ellie has been on my mind since Jenn shared the news of her battle with cancer. I read your blog for updates. I thought I would leave a comment to let you know that Ellie and your family are in our daily prayers. I believe in the power of prayer:) As a mother of two small children, I am touched and impressed by your faith in God's plan. I cannot imagine such a trial. I love that you taught Ellie about the power of the Holy Spirit. Please know that we are thinking of you...my four-year old daughter includes Ellie in her bedtime prayers. We hope to meet a healthy and happy Ellie in the near future. May God give you all his healing touch, wisdom and peace.
Sincerely,
Kara Cox

The one thing that we never had to go through with Emmaline was decisions. We never had to decide which direction to take. We thank God for that.

Oh, we're praying for you. That's one thing that we can do to help! Whenever we pray, if we don't mention Ellie, Emmaline says, "Don't forget to pray for my friend Ellie!" so then we pray again for her.

Your family is such a glowing inspiration of strength and reliance on God -- your brilliant struggles have really shown us what faith is all about. Your bright, shining faith, trust, hope, and love has been such an encouragement to all of us!

I live next door to Jenn.

Ellie is a strong girl who is proving her resilience. May the Rose of Sharon and the Lilly of the Valleys guide Ellie as progesses through this time in her life.

Our imagination cannot fathom the power of prayer.
