We will always remember Ellie for her love for others, her creativity, sensitivity, and delight in life! Ellie's light has spread far and wide... may it continue to shine in our hearts.
Thanks for the sweet comments and prayers for Loretta! She is feeling some better today and did get a little more sleep last night than previous nights, but she's still not 100% and the smoke remains heavy in the air. Please keep praying for La and also for rain! Thanks so much.

I am a woman whose life has not turned out as she expected, but who has discovered that the grace of God is big enough to get me through any situation. I am married to John and am the mother of Ethan (who lives with us) and Ellie (who lives in Heaven).

We are glad to hear that prayer has been answered and that Loretta is feeling better. We will continue to pray for rain to come, the fires to stop burning and the smoke to go away. Once the fires are gone you can again enjoy the clear air that the West is known for.
We do pray for you all regularly for wisdom on a daily basis. Not only for you as parents, but for the care takers and decisions that need to be made regularly. And we pray that you will continue to grow in our Lord and that your faith will be greatly increased.
