And the dance lives on...

Ethan has been missing Ellie a lot over the past couple of days. Yesterday he and La were talking about what they do when they miss Ellie. Ethan said "I cry a little and look at the stars. I also get angry and want to hurt people sometimes when I miss Ellie." I hope he never loses that ability to be completely honest! Ethan got so excited last night because he got ready for bed all by himself and while he was jumping for joy he asked "can Ellie see me right now?" Then we went out to the garage to tell Loretta (who was working out there sorting boxes) that he had gotten himself dressed. She was listening to music and Ethan broke into a spontaneous dance! Tell me if you recognise any moves (despite the decidedly higher energy level)...

May Ellie's memory always live vibrantly like that in Ethan's mind and heart. What a blessing to have him be able to continue to light your world with vivid memories of your precious angel.
Still praying that God's peace and strength will continue to uphold you and carry you each day!

He's getting so big, give him a hug for me and tell him I'm so happy for him, getting ready for bed by himself.

Hi Sarah and all,

A turn, twirls, spins, range, balance, good transitions, a unique type of forward step; there's a lot of Ellie in that dance.

Thanks Ethan; you show us how it's done.

Wow! Very moving. It seemed that Ellie was dancing right there with Ethan. What a joyful moment for Ethan to share a new accomplishment with his sister and to dance with her too.

So precious and so moving Ethan. You are such a big boy. And your dance was wonderful. I was reminded of a video you shared of Ellie. She will live on in otheres and in the hearts that you shared her with.
A friend of mine that has cancer (she is in her early 50s) wrote this:
"Hope is hearing the melody of the future and faith is dancing to it now!" She is actually the leader of a women's dance praise team. I thought you would enjoy what she said. I continually to pray for you and your family.

That was great. I didn't know Ellie personally, but even I could see her in his movement. What a blessing he is!
