Looking Back
Been missing my girl these days...
I read back over most of the blog yesterday, and found these videos once again. I've watched them over and over. Just thought you all might enjoy re-living happier times.
Shine
There’s a place you can go
Where your heart is free
There’s a rhythm
That’s right for your soul
Take a breath, find your courage
And make the leap
Cause your feet always know where to go
And you dance and you dance in an endless flow
In the grace of a perfect design
Stepping out of the dark and into the glow
And the whole world will see when you shine
You can shine (shine)
Shine (shine)
There’s a beauty already inside of you
There’s a difference that only you’ll make
Every place that you spin brings you somewhere new
Finding hope every step that you take
And you dance and you dance in an endless flow
In the grace of a perfect design
Stepping out of the dark and into the glow
And the whole world will see when you shine
You can shine (shine)
Shine
(Shine)
Suddenly sparkling bright (shine)
Making a magical light (shine)
You will (shine)
Sisters are there by your side
Love will be your guide
And we dance and we dance in an endless flow
In the grace of a perfect design
Stepping out of the dark and into the glow
The whole world will see when we shine
We will shine (shine)
Shine (shine)

I'm glad you guys have these videos of her. Thank you for sharing them again... we all need a little dose of Ellie from time to time... :)
Love you guys...
Lauren
I miss her too, though I never met her except through this blog. I am still, and will always be praying for you.
I haven't commented in a while but I think of you often. It is as though you have become a part of my life and I check your blog on a regular basis. The other night I was rearraging my girls bedroom and I couldn't get Ellie out of my head. It is so weird, I have never met you and yet you are in my thoughts and prayers often. Love and prayers. Lump in my throat, Sarah, We love you and pray for comfort from the Holy Spirit. Sheri
Sarah- You are so brave still. Our problems shrink in remembering what you have been through. You are a pillar of strength to all that have met you.

Thanks for sharing these videos again Sarah. I too check the blog regularly and even though I have only met Ellie once I have gotten to know her more through this blog and I miss her too. I pray for you and your family every day. Look to the Lord Sarah and He will be your refuge.
Thinking of you.
Love these videos of your strong and courageous little girl...Ellie.
I cannot imagine your pain of missing her in your life every day.
Thanks for sharing....

I just wanted you to know that even though I haven't written a note in a while, I still check your blog regularly and think about you and pray for you!
Hi Sarah,
Thanks for the dance and the lyric.

Sarah,
You have been in my thoughts since I left your house. There was just something about watching you braid Baileys hair that absolutely broke my heart. And then.....there were these swords and guns and nerf bullets were hitting me in the face! In the midst of such pain, joy filled the room that afternoon. I'm not sure I could get through each day with such grace as you do. You are one amazing friend, for that I feel so fortunate. Bailey and I often scroll through past posts so she can watch those same videos of Ellie dancing. We miss her and love you dearly!
Jen
Sarah,
What a precious memory. It is a beautiful way to remember Ellie -- as our little dancer -- and to be happy she is in a place where she can dance and be free! The words to the song our so beautiful!
My heart aches for your pain. I miss her and think of her everyday, but know it is nothing compared to what you, John, and Ethan feel. Know that you are not alone and are always lifted up in prayer. I hope that God can carry you in the most difficult times. We love you all so much and would do anything to help.
Love, Mel
Sarah,
When I watch this - I think of
'Dancing in Grace'.
Ellie looks so graceful.
Grace is also a word that would
describe you.
Let your conversation be always full of grace...Colossians 4:6
Thank you for continuing to share your life with us.
Sarah, I haven't read too much of your blog yet, but I LOVE what I have read so far! I want to sit down with a cup of tea one of these days and read your story from the beginning!
Thanks for your wonderfully sweet comments on my blog. :-)
I have been thinking about making a quilt out of Jenna's clothes. It never occurred to me to make it myself though - I was going to ask my mom, but when you wrote about it on my blog I thought it might be such therapy for me to piece it together myself.
I am a rudimentary seamstress with a broken sewing machine (easy to fix, just the power cord) and quite lacking in patience. It could become quite an interesting project!
We miss her also - praying for Ellie and all of you so passionately - so sorry for your pain and wish we could take it off you for a while. Sharing one another's burdens is our joy as believers - You have some very soft shoulders here if needed and we can still pray for you and your beautiful family. Thank you for remaing "with us" - I'd hate to lose you into the blogosphere.
Sarah,
Thank you for sharing this! I know through some posts I've read of Ellie and dancing, but hadn't seen it! Fabulous! Dance Ellie, Dance! And you mom, we love and pray for you. I know we haven't met, but I know God had us learn about your family through Chad's prayer posts to our mutal church in Jax. We are STILL Praying! Love you and keep on sharing. How awesome sweet Ellie's dancing is. You have taught me so much! On of my favs if you and Ellie cooking in the kitchen. I made sure last xmas I got photos of me and my daughter doing cookies and other things since. Thank you for helping me. You are wonderful IMO! :)
Blessings, you sister in Christ,
Jackie Davis and family in Guatemala, we'll be in the states in Oct. for a quick visit.
